Zetsaw (often branded as Z-Saw) is the primary brand of Okada Hardware Mfg. Co., Ltd., one of Japan’s leading manufacturers of handsaws. Based in Miki City—the historical heart of Japan’s hardware industry—the company is credited with bridging the gap between ancient Japanese blacksmithing traditions and modern industrial manufacturing.

Okada Hardware was established in 1943 as a local tool manufacturing company in Miki, Japan. During its early decades, it operated within the rich tradition of Japanese saw-making, which dates back centuries. However, unlike many traditional blacksmiths who focused on custom, hand-forged blades, Okada set out to modernize the process to make high-quality tools accessible to a wider market.
