  • Lubricate with water
  • Double sided, fast cutting
  • 207mm x 66mm x 36mm
  • 1000 grit is for medium sharpening
  • 6000 grit side is for edge finishing

Made from abrasive particles suspended in a bonding compound, the stone covers two consecutive stages in the sharpening process. Dimensions:207 x 66 x 36mm Unlike other synthetic sharpening stones which consist of a single abrading agent, these Japanese water stones consist of aluminium oxide, carbide and nitride particles fused together. This blend is then mixed with a clay like bonder and baked at high temperatures to form the sharpening stone.

The King Japanese KDS Large Combination Water Stone (1000/6000 grit) is a premium dual-sided whetstone designed for sharpening and polishing knives. The 1000 grit side restores dull edges, while the 6000 grit provides a fine, razor-sharp finish. Ideal for chefs, home cooks, and woodworking tools, this stone offers consistent performance and long-lasting durability.
