Description

This premium wheel marking gauge will ensure accurate marking on your workpiece, allowing measurement transfers such as tenon shoulders and mortice depth. The hardened steel wheel features a single sided bevel that pulls the face of the gauge against the stock to consistently maintain a true cutting line.

The cutting wheel scribes and cuts the wood fibres cleanly, rather than tearing, resulting in a highly accurate line, even on cross grain in both soft and hardwoods. When not in use the cutting wheel retracts into the face of the gauge for protection.

The 40 mm circular head of the gauge is precision machined from solid brass and offers a stable platform against the stock edge to aid stability. The large knurled thumbscrew allows for fast, one handed adjustment and the transfer of measurements. The 205 mm coated stainless-steel rod is cleanly etched in one millimetre increments up to 150mm, enabling precise marking out.
