Versatility comes as standard with the Pegasus Pro 3-in-1 Plane. Designed as three precision tools in one, it can be configured as a Shoulder Plane, Bullnose Plane or Chisel Plane, making it an exceptionally versatile addition to any fine woodworking toolkit.
Changing between functions is quick and straightforward. Use either of the interchangeable nose pieces for shoulder or bullnose work, or remove the nose piece completely to convert the plane into a chisel plane for close and detailed work.
The body is cast from fine grey iron and is precision machined, ground and polished to deliver accurate, dependable results. The sole is flat and the sides are precisely square to the sole.
A 27 mm full-width blade provides excellent access into corners and is micro adjustable for precise control of the depth of cut. The polished, arched cast-bronze lever cap adds both strength and a refined appearance while providing a comfortable and secure grip during use.
For greater control over the cut, supplied shims allow the mouth opening to be adjusted for fine or coarse work, giving you the flexibility to configure the plane to suit the task.
The blade is manufactured from oil-quenched, high-carbon spring steel, hardened and tempered to HRC 63. It requires only minimal preparation and a little honing before use.
